Chamomile
Chamomile is a small, daisy-like flower which has a soothing and anti-inflammatory effect on the skin. It is a popular ingredient in skin care and hair care products.

Comfrey
Herbalists consider Comfrey to have positive effects on wound-healing and it is often added to products containing arnica to alleviate bruising. It imparts a soothing and anti-irritant action to dry or damaged skin.

Eyebright
Eyebright is a herb, used as a gentle astringent in toners.

Hops
Hops are helpful in alleviating insomnia and have a calming effect on the nervous system in general.
Lavender
Lavender has a calming fragrance which can help promote sleep. The dried flowers can be used in soaps and bath bombs or as an infusion (see glossary) in shampoo or bubble bath.
