Lip-gloss Recipe

Ingredients 

30ml Castor Oil
0.5g Beeswax
1g Mica Colour
2 drops Bisabolol
2 drops Vitamin E Oil
2 drops Essential Oil

 Equipment  

Accurate Scales (measuring 0.1g divisions)
Measuring Spoon
Small Measuring Jug (50ml)
Syringe and Plastic Tubing (if using tubes)
Bain-marie or Double Boiler
Hob
2 x Lip-gloss Tubes or 2 x 15ml Jars

Method

1. Melt the Castor Oil and Beeswax in a bain-marie or double boiler

2. Add Bisabolol and Vitamin E Oil and stir

3. Take the pan off the heat. Mix in the Mica Colour and Essential Oils

4. Either syringe the mixture into lip-gloss containers or pour into jars. If putting in an applicator, don’t fill to the top otherwise it will overflow.
